About Dr Emma Morelli

Emma grew up in Geraldton, Western Australia. After finishing high school she moved to Perth to complete her undergraduate dental degree at the University of Western Australia, graduating in 2004 with Honours. A country girl at heart, upon graduation she ventured to the southwest to work in private general dental practice in Bunbury and Busselton. She completed the primary examinations with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2006, and the Final examinations in 2010, where she was awarded the college medal.
Emma was always interested in the field of periodontics and was inspired to pursue further study after seeing the benefits to her patients’ periodontal and oral health after they received specialist periodontal treatment. Emma decided to study abroad and explore the majestic country of New Zealand, moving her family to Dunedin to complete her 3 year Doctor of Clinical Dentistry at the Otago University. In 2020, on completion of her studies, she worked in a private specialist periodontal practice in Perth, before opening Bunbury Periodontics in September 2021.
